INDOOR RANGE

The POSC Indoor range is open on a regular scheduled basis for a variety of shooting disciplines such as;

Bullseye Shooting, Action Pistol Shooting, and Regular Practice.

HEALTH WARNING: WHILE ON THE INDOOR RANGE YOU WILL BE EXPOSED TO LEAD GASES OR PARTICLES THAT CAN RAISE YOUR BLOOD LEAD LEVELS.


The Indoor Range is open for Bullseye shooting on Tuesday afternoons: 2:00 to 4:00 pm and Wednesday evenings: 7:00 to 9:00 pm.


The range is a 20 yard gallery range with 5 shooting stands.


Members and Guest that are not shooting can view the active range from the observation room.


The range is licensed for a variety of handgun calibres: .22 rimfire, 9mm, 10mm, 32, 38, 357, 40, 41, 44 and 45 ACP.


Some pistol caliber rifles are also authorized: .22 rimfire, 9mm, 38 Special, 40 S&W, 44 special, 45 ACP and 45 Colt.


SAFETY NOTICE: WHILE ON THE RANGE THE USE OF EYE AND EAR PROTECTION IS MANDATORY.


All Members and Guest are to sign the sign-in sheet before shooting. Guest shall pay a $10.00 range fee and sign a POSC range waiver. Members shall be responsible for the conduct and the supervision of their Guest.


Only appointed Indoor Range Officers (RO) are authorized to supervise the relays.


RANGE RESTRICTION: Youth must be accompanied by an Indoor Range Officer (Who can not also be acting as the appointed range officer supervising the relays).  This range officer must remain within arms reach of the youth at all times while they are on the range.
