COURSES
Pembroke Outdoor Sports Club Safety Orientation Courses are conducted regularly, on the first Saturday of every second month. Please check the Calendar for course dates. This course is required for all Ordinary Members, and grants the member Range Officer qualification for the Lower Ranges. Range Officer Courses for the Indoor and Shotgun Ranges are offered on an as-needed basis, and are offered to members who regularly shoot and volunteer on those respective ranges.
For Information on the Canadian Firearms Safety Course, Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course ("PAL/RPAL" courses) or the Ontario Hunter Education Program, please utilize the "Find a course" or "Find and Instructor" resources on the Firearms Safety Education Service of Ontario website. These courses are NOT offered by the POSC.
